Dillon and his wife, Gabrielle, presented a $30,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Door County at Horseshoe Bay Farms in Egg Harbor on Monday morning. The Dillon Family Foundation matched a $15,000 donation from an anonymous donor to support a new teen-led cooking and nutrition program.

ASHWAUBENON – Even though his time with the Green Bay Packers ended, running back AJ Dillon and his wife, Gabrielle, are still finding ways to give back to communities throughout Northeast Wisconsin.

The second annual “Pickleball for a Purpose”, he said, is a charity pickleball tournament benefiting the Dillon Family Foundation.

Philadelphia Eagles running back AJ Dillon partnered with Les Richards 2 to raise more than $8,000 for the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia.  

The fundraising effort included an exclusive meet and greet with Dillon at LR2 on Nov. 18, followed by a weeklong giveback where 10 percent of all LR2 proceeds from Nov. 18-25 were donated to the organization in honor of its partnership with Dillon Family Foundation. 

AJ spent the evening at the Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia’s community fundraiser. AJ spoke about the importance of supporting youth development, signed autographs, and hung out with the eventgoers.

Although AJ Dillon is no longer in Titletown, the former Green Bay Packers running back is still making his first ‘NFL home’ a priority through a generous donation to a local Boys & Girls Club.

On Thursday, through the Dillon Family Foundation, AJ and his wife, Gabrielle, made a $25,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Door County. Thursday marked the one-year anniversary of the foundation’s launch.

The former Green Bay Packers player known, among other nicknames, as “Quadzilla” and the “Mayor of Door County” was honored by the Wisconsin State Assembly for his work off the football field around northeastern Wisconsin.

The Philadelphia Eagles RB spent his Friday giving back — packing 1,400 backpacks with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin as part of his U.S. Venture campaign, then hitting the court for Pickleball for a Purpose to support his Dillon Family Foundation and its mission to combat food insecurity.

The Green Bay Packers' connection to their fan base is unlike any other relationship in the NFL. This team has been a staple of this community for decades and isn't changing anytime soon.

With that being the case, it isn't as surprising to see a former player return to Green Bay to give back to the community that gave him so much during his tenure with the franchise. Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon is signing a one-year deal with the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, according to the NFL Network.

Green Bay Packers’ AJ Dillon, his wife Gabrielle, and their Dillon Family Foundation, have teamed up with Door County Coffee, one of Sturgeon Bay’s favorite coffee shops. Throughout the month of February 2025, $1 from every specialty drink purchased at Door County Coffee will be donated to the Dillon Family Foundation, contributing to its mission of empowering families and addressing food insecurity.

Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon and his wife, Gabrielle, recently launched a partnership with Door County Coffee. During the month of January, one dollar from every specialty drink sold at Door County Coffee will support the Dillon Family Foundation and its mission to empower families and combat hunger.

The Dillons designed the featured drinks themselves, according to an Instagram post by Gabrielle Dillon. Those drinks include a raspberry cream lotus; an iced chai with caramel and cinnamon cold foam; a caramel breve; and a cinnamon dolce latte.

AJ Dillon missed the entire 2024 season with a neck stinger. He suffered the injury during a joint practice with the Denver Broncos on Aug. 16. He was put on injured reserve Aug. 28 without a designation to return when the Packers' 53-man roster was announced.

With the injury, the man known as the Mayor of Door County never got the chance to put all the offseason work he put into his body — head coach Matt LaFleur said Dillon looked the best he's ever seen him — into practice.

Fans, however, could see him on the sidelines during home games and he was a consistent presence in the community through his recently launched Dillon Family Foundation, with Gabrielle. He also continued to grow his podcast, "Toonen to Dillon" with his brother-in-law, Will Toonen.
